Super Penguin

Hey friends! It’s been awhile since I’ve done a blog post (like a really long while…) There’s been a lot going on behind the scenes, and this medium has become an as needed piece to the Super Penguin puzzle. BUT I’ve got a lot of exciting announcements happening over the next few months and wanted to share a little behind the scenes information.

As you probably already know, Super Penguin 2 was launched a little less than a month ago. It’s been very exciting getting that to readers who enjoyed the first book, and to some new fans too. What you don’t know is that Super Penguin 2 is a gigantic milestone for lots of upcoming changes, Much like the branches of the Multiverse in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (picture below), with the conclusion of Super Penguin 2, there are branches that are leading to several new, and exciting things happening both in Super Penguin’s universe and our own!

The first branch is Book 3 and that process has begun! Book 3 is a spinoff of Super Penguin 1 and 2, and while your favorite caped penguin is in a few scenes, he’s not the main character of the next book. I’m being vague on purpose so I don’t spoil the ending of Super Penguin 2 for those that haven’t read it yet, but once you’ve finished SP2, you’ll know exactly who is getting their own book. We are targeting early 2026 for the release of Book 3. Once Book 3 is released, it’ll be time to start Super Penguin 3!

The next branch is re-releasing Super Penguin. As you can see below, the penguin has been upgraded to a new look….and now the old penguin is bothering me…so we are doing a second edition of Super Penguin (aka Super Penguin 1) with a new cover and filled with illustrations throughout! Some of the artwork is already done, and we’ll be sharing the pictures soon! We are targeting this Fall for the re-release.

The third branch, that’s kind of a branch off the second branch, is a Super Penguin Coloring and Activity Book! The Coloring and Activity Book will feature images from the first two books as well as crossword puzzles, word searches, and loads of other activities. Look for the Coloring book in 2025!

And last but not least, we are working on some children’s books for younger readers! I’ve gotten a lot of feedback from kids and parents who love the idea of Super Penguin, but a chapter book is a little too advanced for them. So we listened and are brainstorming story ideas. No timeline yet for this project.

We’ve got a lot of irons in the fire, but are so incredibly excited for next phase of Super Penguin and hope you are too!
