And last but certainly not least, SUPER PENGUIN!!! The hero of my story. His alter ego is “Paul Frost” Like many of my heroes, Paul falls into the category of the “unlikely hero.” His world is shaken by some news, and he can’t just sit back and watch. His enemies are bigger and stronger, but he’s got a lot of heart and won’t back down.
Fun facts about Paul/Super Penguin:
- As some of you may have read in a previous blog post, “Super Penguin” originated as a silly comic strip I drew at Danville High School during study hall.
- During Super Penguin’s “comic days” he didn’t have an alter ego. That came much more recently when I started writing the book. He is named after The Beatles’ Paul McCartney and “Frost” in reference to the wintery occurrence.
- Paul is a sportswriter. He works at the Eagle City Inquirer with his best friend, Annie.
I don’t want to spoil anything for his character arc. So that’s all the info you get on Super Penguin for now. Books should be coming in a couple weeks!
